I can relate. I also had very early fantasies about how great it would be to cook with Ben - my particular scenario was making bread.

Of course, he has little to no interest in cooking.

Your story gave me hope.

I think I'll try letting him read a cookbook - perhaps that's the hyperlexic's route to the kitchen!
